Main duties include filing patient information in the electronic health record, and maintaining patient documents within the appropriate folders and databases supporting our practice care teams and providers. This position is full time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work our normal business hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. Our office is located at 3 Farm Glen Blvd, Farmington, CT 06032. Employees will be required to work some days onsite and some days from home. We offer 90 days of paid Onsite training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment. Training will be conducted onsite. - Index patient documents into Medical Records for all practice sites
- Indexing/filing into patient charts such documents as progress notes, lab reports, mail, etc.
- Indexing/filing patient charts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain knowledge of current OSHA regulations, practice policies, and standard workflows
- Assist coworkers as possible to assure smooth practice operation and delivery of excellent services through teamwork
- Support Central Services operations as assigned

- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of healthcare experience (administrative or medical records)
- Basic computer knowledge and Windows PC applications
- Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology

Connecticut Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $16.00 to $28.27 per hour.
