You can learn about our amazing benefits here: MDOT BenefitsQualificationsPreferred QualificationsEducation: A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.Experience: Four (4) years of professional level experience providing oversight for programs, initiatives or projects and directing or leading teams. Two (2) years of this experience must have been in a managerial capacity.Knowledge of COMAR and Motor Vehicle laws, rules, and regulations a plus.Notes:1. Additional graduate education at an accredited college or university may be substituted for the required general experience at the rate of 30 semester credit hours for each year of the required experience for up to two years.2. Additional management or supervisory experience as described above may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education at the rate of one year of management or supervisory experience for 30 credit hours of education, for up to four years of the required education.3. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience involving staff work that included the regular independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations, or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for- year basis for the required education and experience.Licenses & CertificationsEmployees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle.
