* Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling patient appointments. Triages phone calls as necessary.* Conducts patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care.* Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.* Works under immediate supervision.* Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.* Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and at least 3 years of healthcare related experience.* Previous medical scheduling preferred.
