Varied (United States of America)Department:100 - 621000 TG - Central ProcessingPosition Description: Responsible for decontaminating, assembly and sterilization process for all instruments, procedure trays and patient care equipment for the organization ; operations of all processing equipment; inventorying and sterilizing linen items needed for the organization and sterile technique.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent.At least two years experience in a Central Service Department, Surgery or equivalent preferred. Must have a General knowledge of surgical instruments, supplies and decontamination and sterilization techniques. Good organizational skills. Must be able to stand for long period of time; required to do some walking and lifting (17 to 25 pounds).
