DescriptionSummary:The Central Sterile Processing Technician II role is responsible for stocking patient care units with sterilized non-chargeable items. Assembles reusable instrument sets, assists with assembly of case carts and cleans, decontaminates and sterilizes all reusable instrumentation.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. 2. License/Certifications: Current Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required. 3. Experience: One year of experience in a related role within a MaineHealth facility or Sterile Processing Certification required. One year experience in sterile processing required. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Central Sterile Processing Technician I role. 4.
