We are currently looking for a Central Supply Clerk with nursing home experience to join our team and ensure the seamless operation of our supply and inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm all orders with written purchase orders.
- Ensure proper allocation of supplies to the correct departments.
- Fill requisitions for routine supplies and equipment.
- Maintain supplies and equipment in good condition.
- Verify invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips with incoming shipments.
- Organize and catalog supplies and equipment for efficiency and safety.
- Respond to staff inquiries about products and supplies.
- Research new product pricing and collaborate with the Director of Purchasing for approvals.
- Track and follow up on back orders.
- Submit any required changes to the Home Office promptly.
- Assist in developing methods for managing supply inventory.
- Provide reports and recommendations to the purchasing agent as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a nursing home or healthcare facility is required.
