We offer meaningful employment by belonging to an international movement that makes positive differences in the lives of individuals and families.At the Y, we are committed to providing you with opportunities to develop your knowledge, skills and career while supporting others to be successful.We currently have a need for the following position:Position/Term: Centre Manager, Central Huron YMCA (Clinton)Start Date: ASAPSchedule: Full Time, 40 Hour Work WeekQualifications & Experience:University degree or completion of College diploma in a related field3-5 years' experience in a management position in a results-oriented role overseeing membership, program, and staff/volunteer developmentYMCA experience is preferred but related work consideredSkills in Human Resources Management, Health, Fitness and Aquatics membership and program delivery, as well as financial managementExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional people skills; comfortable working with and among diverse groups of people; able to work effectively independently, as well as within a team settingComputer knowledge in MS Office using Word and ExcelCurrent and acceptable Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Position Screen is a condition of employment for all staff and volunteersIt is a YMCA of Southwestern Ontario requirement that all employees and volunteers be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Exemptions will be granted upon receipt of acceptable proof of a permissible Human Rights Code ground. This requirement has been suspended effective June 30, 2022.
