Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Human Resources Assistant DEPARTMENT: Human Resources CAREER LEVEL: Non-Exempt 7 (starting $21.00 - based on experience)HOURS: 1st ShiftSUMMARY OF ACCOUNTABILITIES: The selected candidate must assist in all aspects of payroll, hiring, onboarding and employee relations.
- Administer all aspects of the weekly payroll process while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Process and track leave of absences and related benefits.
- Maintain security access card system and create employee badges.
- Provide benefits training during new employee orientation.
- Assist with hiring process and front desk coverage as needed.
- Appropriately handle confidential information.
- Assist in the assessment, development, delivery, and record keeping of HR programs and policies.
- Independently carry out all other duties assigned by supervisor and/or management.
- Provides assistance to employees regarding benefits, payroll, leave policies, and other HR policies and procedures.
- Maintains personnel records in multiple systems, including but not limited to: personnel folder organization and entering schedule changes, job changes, new hires and terminations.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma minimum, degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. 2. Demonstrated pattern of highly effective communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs. 4. Punctual with strong history of exceptional attendance 5. Excellent organizational skills required with the ability to enter data timely and accurately . 6. Must possess high attention to detail with outstanding follow through.
