The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in operations, leadership, mergers and acquisitions, and startup environments, as well as an entrepreneurial mindset. This is a unique opportunity to be at the helm of an industry-leading food manufacturing company, driving growth and innovation while shaping the future of our business. Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership for the company by working with the Board of Directors and the executive management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies. Plan, develop, implement, and direct the organization's operational and fiscal function and performance. Act as the primary spokesperson for the company to the companys constituents, the media, and the general public. Establish and maintain relationships with various organizations throughout the industry, and with potential business partners. Evaluate and advise on the potential impact of long-range planning, the introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory actions. Develop and lead the execution of the companys growth strategy, including potential mergers and acquisitions. Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company. Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. Mentor and develop a direct team, managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and the building of an effective team dynamic. Review and analyze financial reports, and other data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement. Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years of executive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven track record of success in a senior leadership role, where he/she has taken an entrepreneurial approach to driving the business. Demonstrated experience in developing and executing growth strategies, including mergers and acquisitions. Deep understanding of financial strategies and finance-related performance metrics. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operational excellence. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Strong public speaking and presentation skills. Proven negotiation skills and a broad business acumen. Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to effectively build relationships with other leaders, staff, the public, and key stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work in a startup environment, including the ability to articulate and implement a strategic vision, set objectives, and manage resources to achieve objectives.
