Overview:

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Addiction Specialist to join our team at Women's Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center located in Vandalia, Missouri.

Responsibilities:

The Certified Addiction Specialist is responsible for coordinating all substance abuse/addiction program activities in a correctional setting. This includes providing intake, assessment, treatment planning, and group and individual counseling.

Qualifications:

• License not required, but must be certified with one of the following:
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)
  • Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRADC)
  • Certified Reciprocal Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRAADC)
  • Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor - Provisional (RADC-P)
  • Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professional (CCJP)
  • Registered Alcohol Drug Counselor (RADC)
  • Co-occurring Disorder Professional (CDP)
  • Co-occurring Disorders Professional Diplomat (CDPD)
• Current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification required
• Ability to pass and maintain a security background clearance
