We are seeking an experienced Epic Healthy Planet and Ambulatory Consultant with a strong background in regulatory compliance and reporting to join our team on a 12-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and optimizing Epic Healthy Planet and Ambulatory modules while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, workflow optimization, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements to deliver innovative and compliant solutions.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation, optimization, and support of Epic Healthy Planet and Ambulatory modules.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze clinical and operational workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and alignment with regulatory standards.
- Develop and configure population health and ambulatory workflows, registries, dashboards, and care management tools within Epic.
- Ensure solutions meet regulatory compliance requirements, including CMS, HEDIS, NCQA, and other applicable standards.
- Provide expertise in value-based care programs, quality reporting, and risk adjustment initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate third-party systems and data sources into Epic for regulatory reporting and analytics.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend strategies to enhance compliance and performance across clinical and financial workflows.
- Design and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users to ensure seamless adoption of regulatory-compliant workflows.
- Act as a liaison between clinical, operational, and technical teams to ensure project success.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to system functionality, data accuracy, and compliance.
Key Qualifications:
- Epic Healthy Planet and/or Ambulatory certification(s) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Epic systems, with a focus on Healthy Planet and Ambulatory modules.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and experience implementing solutions to meet compliance standards.
- Experience with population health management, care coordination, and value-based care initiatives.
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting tools, and regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., PACE, CMS Quality Payment Program, HEDIS, and MIPS).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
