NY 10003Onsite 5 days a weekWe are seeking a Dental Assistant for our Oral Surgery Department.Summary job description:Provide oral surgical assistance to dental residents and students. Assist in the administration of IV sedation and patient monitoring during surgical procedures. Perform tests; assist with preparing dental castings, dispensing medications and instructions, and performing minor dental and surgical procedures; ensure safe use, disposal, and storage of chemicals or hazardous materials.Required Experience:2+ years of related experience. Graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program, oral surgery experience and 1-2 years of related experience including oral surgery experience with IV sedation/general anesthesia.Hours/Shift:35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Shift could be from 8am-4pm or 9-5pmStart Date: As soon as possible once medically cleared.
