Primary responsibilitiesinclude:Field Training New Pest Specialists – conduct on-the-job training with new hires during their first 6 weeks and ensure completion of weekly Field Training ChecklistsPeer Support for New Pest Specialists – conduct weekly check-ins and monthly meet-ups with new hire during their first yearand complete associated documentation for recordsSuccessful completion of Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program (with biannual recertification)Additional Job Duties:As Certified Field Trainer (Trainee's Weeks 1-6):Conduct ride-along for job candidates during the interview processArrive on time and prepared for trainingEffectively train skills and provide ample feedback in a timely mannerWeekly communication with Trainee's ManagerWeekly evaluation and progress sign-off for Field Training ChecklistsAs Peer Support (Trainee's Week 6 – 1 Year)Develop solid working relationship with TraineeBe available by phone (or text) to answer questions from TraineeHelp shape expectations for Trainee as they go through the different phases of training and onboardingHelp them make a successful transition from Trainee to productive employeeCommunicate any concerns / issues to Trainee's ManagerCompensation and Benefits:Standard compensation rate for Field Training daysRetention bonus for Peer Support*Development of your training, communication, and leadership skills*CFT must be designated as Primary Peer Support; Trainee must be retained for 1 year + 1 dayQualifications:Applicant must have the following qualifications:At least 1 year with Rentokil North America as a Pest SpecialistFully-trained according Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5)Licensed with appropriate state/province applicator license & categoriesFavorable ratings from the most recent Annual Performance ReviewConducts himself/herself in a professional mannerWhy Choose Us?A career with the Rentokil family of companies can be a professional trajectory filled with opportunity. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Successful completion of Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program (with biannual recertification)

Additional Job Duties:

As Certified Field Trainer (Trainee's Weeks 1-6):

  • Conduct ride-along for job candidates during the interview process
  • Arrive on time and prepared for training
  • Effectively train skills and provide ample feedback in a timely manner
  • Weekly communication with Trainee's Manager
  • Weekly evaluation and progress sign-off for Field Training Checklists

As Peer Support (Trainee's Week 6 – 1 Year)

  • Develop solid working relationship with Trainee
  • Be available by phone (or text) to answer questions from Trainee
  • Help shape expectations for Trainee as they go through the different phases of training and onboarding
  • Help them make a successful transition from Trainee to productive employee
  • Communicate any concerns / issues to Trainee's Manager

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Standard compensation rate for Field Training days
  • Retention bonus for Peer Support*
  • Development of your training, communication, and leadership skills

Qualifications:

Applicant must have the following qualifications:

  • At least 1 year with Rentokil North America as a Pest Specialist

  • Favorable ratings from the most recent Annual Performance Review
  • Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner
