Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for in-home Childcare/Babysitting

Are you a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or CNA with childcare experience? Do you love working with children and their families? Come work for BrightStar Care to provide childcare for local families! In doing so, you can provide peace of mind for the whole family in knowing that their child is being well taken care of.

Our independently owned and operated team is looking for high-energy Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) or CNAs who are in need of part-time, per-diem work, Monday-Friday. You must be willing to travel to Hudson County, NJ, including the Jersey City and Hoboken area.

Childcare experience and an active CPR certification (Red Cross or American Heart Association only) are required as is a NJ CHHA or CNA license. Must be able to work per-diem (as needed), long daytime hours, during the week.

Responsibilities:

• Provide childcare and/or elder care including, but not limited to: feeding/assistance with feeding, diaper changes and bathing
• Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards
• Ensure client's rights are adhered

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Certification and excellent experience as an CHHA or CNA
• Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Minimum one (1) year of documented childcare experience is required

Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
