We value kind and compassionate care and respect our residents and staff like family.MUST HAVE CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE (60 hours) certification from credited schoolPRN position: 3-8 hour shifts required a month Friday, Saturday or Sunday.Shifts: 1st shift 6:00am-2:00pm or 2nd shift 2:00p-10:00pmBenefits- Competitive salary $24 an hour- Internal growth opportunities- Positive work environment- Regular staff appreciation and recognitionJob Description- Assess the residents' needs and assist in developing and following individual care plans- Assure quality care is delivered through the utilization of CMA processes and guidelines- Identify and communicate changes in residents' status to physicians, staff, and family members- Administer medications, and other direct care as prescribed and indicated- Communicate appropriate information to all staff to provide a smooth shift transition- Report any suspected abuse to appropriate authority- Document appropriately as needed or required in PCC- Push/pull 30 pounds of force required to move medication carts and to transport residents in wheelchairQualifications- Certified Medication Aide for the State of Iowa (60 hour class)- Current CPR certification for the State of IowaPillar of Cedar Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
