Lower Lights Christian Health Center (LLCHC) transforms the overall health of Central Ohio, serving one individual at a time. We are focused on whole-person wellness, available to ALL in Central Ohio who need it, regardless of ability to pay! In 2019 alone, we served over 12,000 patients - with 40% being uninsured - and totaled 50,000+ medical encounters!
Operating out of seven locations, we offer medical care (primary care, dental, vision, OB/GYN, telehealth), behavioral and psychiatric care, a low-cost pharmacy, nutritional assistance programs, and more. Working hours are Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday morning coverage.
JOB SUMMARY
As an MA, CMA, or LPN, you will be paired to work alongside a provider to support daily clinical operational needs. Pay is based on certification and experience level.
DUTIES
* Efficiently function in the clinical area of the office while assisting in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management.
* Communicate effectively and accurately (both oral and written) with medical staff, patients, and general public and document accurately in medical records
* Maintain quality control standards and knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.

Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program (must be willing to take the Certification test upon hire if not already obtained) OR Completion of LPN program with current Ohio licensure
* Hands-on phlebotomy experience with draws (at minimum classroom experience)
* Knowledge of Childhood immunizations, medical terminology, and medical procedures
* Use of an EMR (electronic medical records)
* Current CPR certification or ability to get prior to hire.
* Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and teamwork.
* Must be available 7:45a - 5:30p (hours of operation are 8a-5p, but can run over on occasion)
* Ability to travel to multiple locations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* 1-3 years of experience working as a CMA or RMA or LPN in a primary care setting preferred
* Experience with NextGen or Epic (EMR)
