POSITION SUMMARY: The Scheduling Coordinator will coordinate and schedule studies for structural heart procedures (Mitra clip, Watchman, etc.) and will assist with scheduling and work-in appointments for all other ancillary services in the Heart & Vascular department and serve as a back-up scheduler for Vascular studies as needed. The Scheduling Coordinator will also manage one provider's schedule. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum requirements will include a high school diploma or equivalent, must possess a current Certified Medical Assistant Certification and experience in a clinical setting. Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced and stressful situations; pleasant attitude; neat appearance; excellent communication skills; excellent telephone communication and typing skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and physicians; ability to accept responsibility and maintain confidentiality.Physical guidelines include ability to stand/walk for up to extended periods of time, bend, stoop, twist, assist patients' patients in arising from examination table or wheelchair, push wheelchairs and assist patients with ambulation when needed.WORK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pmOther details
