Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our team at Brickmont of Woodstock, a premier assisted living community in Woodstock, Georgia. As a CMA, you will be responsible for administering prescribed medications and treatments to our residents under the direction of a licensed nurse. This is a full-time, hourly position and the primary goal is to ensure the well-being and comfort of our residents.Compensation & Benefits:- Competitive hourly pay of $17 per hour- Paid biweekly- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance- Paid time off- Retirement savings plan- Employee discounts- Ongoing training and development opportunities- A supportive and collaborative work environmentResponsibilities:- Administer medications to residents according to the prescribed dosage and schedule- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications- Conduct regular medication counts and ensure accurate documentation in resident charts- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure proper medication management for residents- Assist with ordering and organizing medications and supplies- Assist with resident wellness checks and report any changes in condition to a licensed nurse- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed- Adhere to all state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures- Maintain a safe and clean medication room and work environment- Provide emotional support and companionship to residentsRequirements:- Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in the state of Georgia- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in an assisted living, long-term care, or healthcare setting preferred- Knowledgeable and skilled in administering medications- Compassionate and patient-focused with excellent communication skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening- Physical ability to lift and assist residents as neededEEOC Statement:At Brickmont of Woodstock, we are dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment.
