Overview:

Unified Womens Healthcare is the leading national platform for womens healthcare. Our affiliated practice in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).

Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy. The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.

Position Highlights:

  • Join an established and successful practice that has served the Cape Coral/Ft. Myers community for over 30 years
  • Large single-specialty group - 14 MDs (3 GYN only), 8 Midwives
  • 1 Call Day per Week
  • Post-call Day Off
  • 1 Weekend Call per Month
  • 3 clinic days per week seeing 20-25 patients per day
  • Delivering hospital: Health Park Medical Center (Level III NICU)

Requirements:

  • AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife
  • Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME)
  • Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN)
  • Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license
  • CPR and NALS Certification

  • Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
  • One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred

  • Labor & Delivery experience preferred
