Here's what you will do:
* Provide for patient's personal hygiene: bathing, shampoos, shaves, assist with showers
* Provide daily living activities: assist with meals, feeding, fresh water, and nourishment
* Provide comfort to residents: positioning and repositioning patients as needed or desired
* Perform I&O: check for vitals and weight; specimen collection
* Provide effective delivery and care in the orientation of new employees
* Utilize resources safely and efficiently
* Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment for residents & co-workers
* Promptly and politely answer residents' call lights and requests
* Report observations of a resident to the nurse in charge of the patient to ensure professional assessments
* Maintain a positive attitude, neat and clean appearance, and competent and caring performance
* Perform other duties as assigned and/or required
* In special areas, perform duties as defined on specialized skill set
* With specialized training and written approval, may perform additional and specialized tasks pertinent to the assigned area
Essential For You To Have as a Regency Park Nursing & Rehab Center of Jefferson CNA:
* Have and continue acceptable Criminal Background Report
* Have and continued clean Sex Offender Report
* Have and continued clean Child and Adult Protective Service Report
* Understand, speak, read and write English fluently
* Education, experience, and skills to perform required responsibilities
* Ability to lift, push or pull at least 25 pounds
* Ability to bend, twist, squat, kneel, and reach
* Ability to treat and care for our residents and their property and personal belongings with dignity and respect
