We are currently seeking an outstanding Part Time Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) to join our Home Care team. The shift for this position is 9am-1pm, Monday through Friday, no weekends. All of our Home Care assignments are located on our Independent Living campus. No more driving across town traveling to your next assignment! Here are a few of the daily responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 care in resident homes located on campus. * Promote independent living activities, provide quality assistance with activities of daily living to enable residents to maintain independent living for as long as appropriate and possible. * Assist with ADL's, dressing/bathing, meal preparation and household tasks including light laundry, dishes and bed making. This can include pet care. * Assist with transportation, transfers or ambulation as resident's condition warrants. * Assist members with making appointments as requested. * Provide reminders to take medication. * Facilitate exercise programs and encourage member to participate in campus activities. * Offer companionship for off campus excursions/appointments/shopping. * Observe and report changes in behavior/appearance to the RN immediately. * Performance of assigned tasks in emergency situations including fire, electrical and disasters. Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have: * Active North Carolina CNA certification or working towards one. * First Aid/CPR Certified. * One (1) year experience working as a CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred. * Experience in geriatrics preferred but not required. * Need to have reliable transportation. Pay range $15.50 - $16.45 per hour depending on experience.
