At A Moments Notice Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements:
- Must have CNA license in good standing in the state in which applying
- Must have at least 3 months experience working in a long-term care facility
- Candidate must have a positive attitude
- Demonstrates caring and compassionate nature
- Must be reliable
- Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet
- Must be able to assist with transfer and positioning of residents
Responsibilities:
- Assists the resident in maintaining/improving function, encouraging independence whenever responsible for the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and overall hygiene of the resident: baths, shampoos, shaves, nail care, mouth care, and foot care.
- Assists with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, transferring, and feeding of assigned residents.
- Takes residents' temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure per facility policy.
- Assists at meals - serving, cutting, pouring, encouraging, or feeding as necessary.
- Ensure that the resident's room is reading for receiving the resident.
- Makes rounds every two hours on residents. Answers all call lights promptly.
