Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities
- Ensure all residentsare comfortable
- Assist residents withactivities of daily living (food service, personal care, bowel and bladderfunctions, etc.)
- Measure and recordvitals routinely
- Observe and report thewell-being of residents
- Provide assistancewith Range of Motion exercises and ambulation
- Establish healthycommunication with nursing personnel and other department personnel
- Perform restorativeand rehabilitative procedures as instructed
- Assist with thelifting, moving, positioning, and transporting of residents
- Check, review, andabide by resident care plans
- Follow workassignments and schedules in completing tasks
- Create and maintain anatmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positivity
- Remain prepared to doany services and assignments within the scope of practice of a CNA
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements - High school diploma or its equivalent
- Valid NYS Certified Nursing Assistant license orPatient Care Technician license
- Exceptional communication, customer service, andinterpersonal skills
- COVID-19 Vaccination
Preferred - Previous experience inlong-term care
- Previous experiencewith Point Click Care
