Job Description: We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at Absolut Center. As a CNA, you will play a crucial role in providing direct care and support to our residents, assisting with activities of daily living, and promoting their well-being and independence. Responsibilities: • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. • Provide compassionate and respectful care to residents, promoting their dignity and independence. • Assist with feeding and hydration as needed, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration for residents. • Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. • Assist with transferring and positioning residents safely and comfortably. • Observe residents' conditions and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff. • Maintain a clean and orderly environment in resident rooms and common areas. • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in meaningful interactions and activities. • Follow all established protocols and procedures to ensure resident safety and well-being. Requirements:
- Must hold a valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the state licensing board.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience working as a CNA in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and staff members.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
