To provide and assist with the direct care of the elderly resident. To assist with activities of daily living, promoting the highest practicable level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being. To have a working awareness of state and federal regulations. Responsible to provide direct care duties in a timely manner, interact politely and professionally with Health Center residents, family members, visitors, and staff. Float to other areas of Charter House.
**Qualifications**
Previous experience with the geriatric population is preferred but not required. Must be able to work independently. Requires good communication and human relation skills to interact with Health Service and Charter House staff. Strong problem solving skills are necessary. Must be able to adapt to unpredictable situations and stress. Works varied hours which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends with rotating days off. Must be 18 years old.
License/Certification
Must have current MN Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
