Smithfield, Virginia The Household Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works in partnership with the Household Team. The Household CNA provides guest-/resident-directed medical and physical care to the guests/residents of the household to meet their daily needs and enable them to function at the highest possible level. Promotes guests/residents psychosocial well-being through meaningful relationship building. Plans and facilitates social activities for rehabilitation guests and residents of the Household which provide meaningful ways to spend time such as daily pleasures recreation exercise and relationship building. Supports the household Homemaker in maintaining a clean safe household environment. Cares for guests/residents personal laundry. Performs all caregiver tasks in accordance with current standards guidelines and regulations and in a safe and efficient manner. As an employee of the Household the CNA is considered a versatile worker and is cross-trained in different functions of the Household within scope of licensure (if applicable) in order to meet guest/resident needs as they occur.
