Performs a variety of technical, para-professional, rehabilitative or therapeutic procedures and activities relating to patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures. As a member of the health care team will carry out individualized programs of restorative/rehabilitative/ therapeutic activities. Responsibilities:
- Perform and document Vital Signs (Temperature | Pulse | Respirations | BP | Pulse Ox)
- Assist patient in performing ADLs (Hygiene | Feeding | Dressing |Toileting | Grooming | Ambulation)
- Perform and document Intake & Output
- Perform Foley Care Perform Specimen Collection (Sputum | Urine | Stool | Saliva)
- Perform/Assist with transferring and repositioning of patient Perform linen changes
- Provide 1:1 patient observation and monitoring as requested
- Perform other duties/tasks within the CNA scope of work as requested
Requirements:
- Current NYS CNA Certification
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- BCLS
