Job Summary: Join our team at RAYRAC HEALTHCARE SERVICES LLC as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Behavioral Health to work directly with clients in their homes, providing essential mental health support. The ideal candidate will have between 3-5 years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and demonstrate a strong background in behavioral and mental health care. Key Responsibilities: Monitor clients' behavior, emotional responses, and progress in their care plan, reporting detailed observations to supervising mental health professionals. Assist in the implementation of individualized care and treatment plans developed by the care team. Provide therapeutic support through activities and interventions aimed at enhancing clients' emotional and mental health. Support clients in managing their day-to-day tasks to foster independence, including medication reminders and coordination of health appointments. Use crisis intervention techniques to manage any challenging situations or episodes of behavioral escalation. Document client interactions, progress, and any changes in behavior in accordance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care and community integration. Working Hours: Monday-Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Wednesday-Friday: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM Requirements: Experience: 3-5 years working as a Certified Nursing Assistant, with direct experience in Behavioral and Hental Health Care. Knowledge: Strong understanding of behavioral health practices, crisis intervention, and therapeutic techniques. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications will be important. Specialized Experience: Experience in medical-surgical, surgery, and behavioral health settings. Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) for effective interactions with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team and provide patient-centered care. Compassionate and patient-focused, with the ability to manage stressful situations and complex client needs. Education: High school diploma required; coursework or certification in behavioral health or mental health preferred. Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if needed. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in home care settings. Certification in Mental Health First Aid or other relevant training. Experience working with diverse client populations including adults, seniors, or those with special needs.
