You'll be friendly face that provide personalized care that respects their dignity. Provide assistance with residents' activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while ensuring comfort and privacy for our residents. It's like being a superhero for our seniors!Keeping an Eye Out: If you notice any changes in our residents' health or mood, you'll let the nursing team know pronto!Documentation: Accurate record-keeping is essential for tracking resident progress and ensuring a seamless transition of care between shifts.Have fun: We're big on making life enjoyable for our residents. Join in on games, chats, and life enrichment activities that put a smile of their faces.What You'll bring: Education: We're looking for a high school degree or something equivalent!Certifications: You've got to have an up-to-date certified nursing assistant certification and a CPR certification. The little things matter.Working Conditions: The Certified Nursing Assistant will primarily work within the assisted living unit of the facility. This role involves a combination of hands-on work, exposure to diverse needs, and interaction with residents, families, and staff. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the team member regularly stands, bends, talks, hears, walks, sits, climbs stairs, stoops, uses hands and fingers to touch, handle, and feel, reaches with hands and arms, lifts and/or moves items of up to 50 pounds. The team member occasionally lifts and transfers residents, using proper body mechanics, and physically assists residents transition to wheelchairs, beds, stretchers, stationary chairs, and vehicles as needed. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
