MGB-16969-Certified Nursing Assistant - Oak Bluffs, MA - 13 Weeks Contract Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant to work onsite at our client's facility in Oak Bluffs.Shift: Will discuss at interview Job Requirements:
- Under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse and in accordance with policies, procedures, protocols, and standards of practice, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) participates in the delivery of patient care.
- Performs basic and routine patient care, such as personal hygiene, toileting, meal preparation and feeding, checks vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and assists patient with transfer from/to bed, toilet and other areas of the resident facility.
Qualifications:
- Ability to apply sound judgment with clinical skills to ensure optimal patient care
- 2 years experience required.
- Accepts and supports changes in work assignments as related to department and patient needs.
- Participates in all departmental and hospital wide educations offerings.
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective quality outcomes.
Required Certifications/Licensure:
- MA state CNA license required
- BLS required
