The CNA is responsible for effectively interacting with the patient, significant others and other health team members, while maintaining standards of professional nursing. They will also use the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical, psycho/social, education, safety and related criteria for the adult and geriatric population. EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Basic knowledge of the nursing process and nursing principles.1-year previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred.High School graduate preferred.Previous experience preferred, but not required.
