Job Summary Caregiver at Visiting Angels - Largo has several caregiver positions available throughout Prince George's County. This individual contributor role is responsible for providing a high level of professional and compassionate in-home care services to our clients. In this important role, you will serve as the reliable link between our clients and the Visiting Angels team. Compensation & Benefits This is a part-time hourly position with competitive pay. Responsibilities •Provide compassionate and professional assistance with ADL's and IADL's to clients in their own homes, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, medication reminders, and emotional support. •Track all daily visits in completion of accurate and thorough documentation and provide feedback to Visiting Angels management for each case. •Reliable, responsible, and dependable in client visits as scheduled. RequirementsCNA/CMT license required •High School Diploma/GED •CPR in-person or online certification •Current TB results or chest x-ray •Minimum of one year of experience providing care to clients within home health care or in-home care setting •Must be able to lift to 50 pounds •Demonstrated ability to work professionally and compassionately with elderly clients •Ability to pass a criminal background check •Valid driver's license and reliable method of transportation •Quick problem-solving abilities and excellent organizational skills •Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills EEOC Statement Visiting Angels - Largo/Prince George County is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages all applicants and employees to consider all aspects of diversity in the workplace.
