Are you a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) looking for an exciting opportunity? Chestnut Park Rehabilitation and Nursing is hiring Full-Time and Per Diem COTAs to join our compassionate team in Oneonta, New York.

Full-Time Salary Range: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities of a COTA:
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists (OT) to develop personalized rehabilitation plans.
  • Implement therapy activities tailored to residents' needs and capabilities under OTR/L guidance.
  • Assist residents in daily activities to enhance their quality of life.
  • Monitor residents' performance during therapy, providing motivation and encouragement.
  • Teach residents how to use specialized equipment to support daily functions.
  • Supervise therapy activities to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Report residents progress and concerns to the OTR/L.
  • Accurately document treatments and outcomes in rehabilitation software.
Qualifications for COTAs:
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program.
  • Valid New York State OTA License.
  • Experience in a long-term care setting is a plus.
