Services may include but are not limited to purposeful activities or interventions to maximize the independence and the maintenance of health of any individual who is limited by a physical injury or illness, a cognitive impairment, a psychosocial dysfunction, a mental illness, a developmental or learning disability, or an adverse environmental condition.Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ( COTA ) Major Duties and Critical Tasks:* Assisting the occupational therapist when performing tests, evaluation and complex treatment procedures* Observing, recording and reporting to the therapist the condition, reactions and responses related to assigned duties* Assisting the therapist in consulting with patients, family members and other health care professionals as appropriate* Assisting with the care of the occupational therapy department and equipment* Assisting the occupational therapist with in-service programs and other meetings as assignedCertified Occupational Therapy Assistant ( COTA ) Education and Experience:* Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification* High School Diploma/GED Required* Strong Interpersonal Skills:
