Job Description:
We're seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our esteemed inpatient rehabilitation team in Sayre, PA. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives while working alongside skilled professionals in a supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Occupational Therapists (OTRs) to develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans Execute therapy activities tailored to patient needs and capabilities Assist patients with daily living activities and teach use of adaptive equipment Monitor and encourage patient progress during therapy sessions Provide supervision to ensure proper execution of patient activities Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and outcomes Communicate patient progress to the supervising OTR/L Requirements Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current Pennsylvania OTA license Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting desired Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in rehabilitation software and documentation Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development About Sayre, PA Sayre is a charming borough in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, known for its rich history and close-knit community.
