- State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Professional or Student Occupational Therapist Assistant experience
Responsibilities
- Screening patients
- Documenting progress toward identified objectives
- Administering occupational therapy services as directed by a registered occupational therapist
- Conducting patient and family education
- Delivering quality occupational therapy services
- Putting patient service first
- Positive attitude and willingness to be a team player
Qualifications
- Pass the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapist Assistant from a program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)
- State licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
