We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated *Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)* to join the rehabilitation team at a top-tier *Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)*.*Position Summary:*As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide residents with the support they need to regain independence and improve their daily living skills.*Responsibilities:** Assist the Occupational Therapist in carrying out treatment plans tailored to residents' needs.* Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to help residents achieve their functional goals.* Monitor residents' progress and report observations to the Occupational Therapist.* Educate residents and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment usage.* Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with regulations.* Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver comprehensive resident care.* Support and motivate residents throughout their rehabilitation journey.*Qualifications:** Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.* Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a COTA.* Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (preferred but not required).* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Job Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 35 - 40 per weekBenefits:* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Flexible schedule* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Referral program* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* GeriatricsSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to FridayLicense/Certification:* Occupational Therapy Assistant License (Required)Ability to Commute:* Fork, SC 29543 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Fork, SC 29543: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
