Location: Dublin,OH, USA
Position Purpose:
We are seeking a certified pharmacy technician to join our team at Mount Carmel's newest medical campus in Dublin, set to open in the spring of 2025. The technician will support the inpatient pharmacy in assuring timely and accurate provision of medications to patients. Routine functions will be performed under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. These functions may include: unit dose dispensing, intravenous admixing, inventory control, and use of equipment and automated technology.
What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school graduation or equivalent
· Licensure / Certification: Approved Pharmacy Technician Certification. Active registration as a Certified Tech with Ohio State Board of Pharmacy.
· Experience: 1 or more years of experience in hospital pharmacy with expertise in a particular area of pharmacy services (IV room, ADC/Pyxis, Packager, etc). Reports to: Coordinator/Manager/Director of Pharmacy; will receive work direction from Patient Care Pharmacist on duty consistent with the Drug Laws in Ohio
· Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
· Project management experience/ Team project management experience
· Effective Communication Skills
· Aptitude in mathematical manipulations (ration, proportions, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions).
