Overview:

Community Health Pharmacy, a mail order pharmacy located in Colchester, VT, is currently accepting applications for a per diem (PRN), Certified Pharmacy Technician. The Community Health Pharmacy is owned by five of Vermonts community health centers. Their mission and vision of the health centers is to deliver quality, affordable medical care to the community. The pharmacy offers a full range of prescription and over-the-counter medications for all CHCB patients.The Community Health Pharmacy is managed by Maxor National Pharmacy Services, headquartered in Amarillo, TX.

• Assist pharmacists in providing effective, appropriate, and safe pharmacy services.
• Provide friendly and cooperative customer service.
• Enter patient data and prescription information accurately.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to read, write, and speak the English language in an understandable manner.

Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.

Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required.

Must be able to operate various computer systems. Ability to work effectively with co-workers as a team member.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma, required
• Vermont Pharmacy Technician registration is required
• PTCB National Certification preferred

Qualifications:

• At least 1+ years experience in retail pharmacy is required
• Excellent customer service skills
