Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Position Overview: This is a 13-week contract with part-time and full-time shifts available. The CRNA will work in a hospital setting, providing anesthesia for general and orthopedic procedures, as well as some eye surgeries. There will be no OB, head, or heart cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of general procedures, including orthopedic and eye surgeries.
- No OB, head, or heart cases.
- Provide anesthesia support for scheduled procedures, including pre-operative assessments, anesthesia administration, and post-operative care.
- Work collaboratively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Shifts: 2 shifts per week, typically 8-10 hours per day.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, reporting at 6:30 AM for the first procedure around 6:45/7:00 AM.
- Average Daily Census: Less than 20 patients.
Qualifications:
- Required Certifications:
- State Licensure: Active Pennsylvania CRNA license (required). No willingness to license in Pennsylvania is needed.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience, including general anesthesia, orthopedic, and eye surgeries.
- Charting System: Experience with Cerner EMR system (required).
Schedule & Flexibility:
- Shifts: Day shifts, 8 hours, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
- Part-Time Option: Part-time shifts available.
- No Call Required.

Requirements:
- Board Certification (NBCRNA) Required
- Pennsylvania State License Required
- ACLS and BLS Certification Required
- 2+ Years of CRNA Experience Required
- Cerner EMR Experience Required
