Currently Seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our pain management practice. Location: Las Vegas, NV 89145 Perks and Benefits · Competitive compensation of $185,000 to $200,000 annually · Comprehensive benefits package · Monday through Friday work schedule Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Job Responsibilities: list of 18 items • Provide pre-anesthetic preparation and patient evaluation. • Ensure patient identification and obtains appropriate health history. • Recommend, request, and evaluate pertinent diagnostic studies. • Document pre-anesthetic evaluation. • Obtain informed consent for anesthesia. • Select and/or administer pre-anesthetic medications. • Select, prepare and administer anesthetic agents or other agents administered in management of anesthetic care. • Inform anesthesiologist and/or surgeon of changes in patient's condition. • Provide anesthesia induction, maintenance, emergence, and post anesthesia care. • Insert invasive line catheter/devices. • Perform tracheal intubation and extubation, airway management. • Provide mechanical ventilation. • Perform venous and arterial punctures. • Obtain blood samples. Performs and manages regional anesthetic. • Manage patient's fluid, blood, electrolyte and acid base balance. • Provide peri-anesthetic invasive and non-invasive monitoring utilizing current standards and techniques. • Respond to abnormal findings with corrective action. • Recognize and treat cardiac dysrhythmias through use of list end peri-anesthetic electrocardiogram monitoring. list of 6 items • Evaluates patient response during emergence from anesthesia. Institute pharmacological or supportive treatment to insure adequacy of patient recovery from anesthesia and adjuvant drugs. • Provide post anesthesia follow-up, report, and evaluation of patient's response to anesthesia and for potential anesthetic complication. • Identify and manage emergency situations. Initiates or participates in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. • Perform or order equipment safety checks as needed. • Clean and sterilize equipment and notifies supervisor of needed equipment adjustments/repairs. • Perform patient care to the extent necessary to maintain clinical expertise, competency and licensing necessary to fulfill job responsibilities and to direct the provision of care on the unit. list end Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: list of 7 items • Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia program • Two (2) years of anesthesia care in acute setting experience preferred • Valid state RN License for state licensure • Valid state APRN Recognition (must meet education requirement • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) • Certified ACLS • Current BLS list end · Apply with a copy of your resume.
