: Job Details :

RESPONSIBILITIES* Complete assessment of patients within the scope of practice.* Understands etiology of types of wounds including surgical, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcer, arterial ulcers, venous ulcers, and traumatic wounds.* Recommends appropriate wound care management strategies' by collaborating with Physicians and staff.* Assists Physician during debridement and/or minor amputations.* Evaluates patient response to treatment.* Has basic understanding of wound care products and advanced treatment modalities including Coban 2, regenerative medicine products and such other related products.* Perform physical, psychological, and cultural nursing needs of patient.* Provides ongoing reassessments in conjunction with the primary nurse or physician of patients.* Communicate with the appropriate team members* Provides patient and family education regarding hyperbaric oxygen therapy and wound care needs as well as unit and procedural orientation.* Assists the hyperbaric physician in initiating a plan of care based on the HBO diagnosis and medical diagnosis.* Follows universal precautions and safe infection control.* Knowledge of Regulatory Standards as per Hospital. (JCAHO, OSHA, Corporate Compliance, HIPPA, and Risk Management).* Commited to Serice excellenceEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS* Nursing staff with current state license in good standing.* BLS certification required, ACLS certification preferred.* Wound care experience, Required. Wound Care Certification, PreferredDemonstrates working knowledge of various EMR (ALLSCRIPTS, EPIC, CERNER, etc..)
