Part-time instructors in this category teach courses that support the Gifted and Talented Summer Scholars program during scheduled summer weeks. Essential Duties The following list is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills or working conditions associated with this position.
- Creates and manages an environment conducive to the student's learning of continuing education and workforce development course material
- Prepares and uses age-appropriate course syllabi
- Attends required annual training
- Meets all scheduled classes
- Maintains student classroom records and reports absences
- Assists with continuing education and workforce development registration when appropriate
- Submits copies of course syllabi, required supply lists, and any other course-related documents to the CEWD Director.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the dean of continuing education and workforce development
