Bell & Associates has been engaged to find our client their next CFO. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) works closely with the CEO/owners to perform effective risk management and plan the organization's financial strategy to support year over year substantial growth. This position manages the company's financial operations and decision making, including accounting, financial reporting and budget preparation.
The CFO works in collaboration with senior leaders of departments to provide financial projections, preparing growth plans, and advising on areas such as product development and market expansion.
This position will contribute to protecting the company's revenues and profits to continue to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
Oversees the company's financial planningPartners with CEO/Owners to drive a successful expansion of the brand through investment opportunities and using capital strategically with deep insights in P&L, income and cash flowAccountable for tracking cash flow and financial planning and analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses to support strategic directionsMeets revenue and earning goals and keeps cash flow stablePerforms risk management by analyzing the liabilities and investmentsManage vendor relationshipsCreates strategic financial plan by leveraging reports generated by accounting and financial teamsEnsures that customer payments are made in full and on time while controlling expenses so that enough cash is on hand to meet financial obligationsEnsure compliance with the law and company's policiesOversees the company's fintech systemSupervise, lead and mentor the finance, accounting, construction, leasing, and legal teamsInformation Technology support, equipment and procurementCollaborates with department heads across the company, in maximizing revenues as well as controlling expensesEnsures a sound budgeting processCreates a multidimensional perspective by holistically examining the profits and losses of both e-commerce and store sales to influence the omnichannel experienceCommunicates and enforces the values, policies and proceduresRequirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field, Masters and CPA is a plus7+ years of CFO or Controller experience in a retail environment5+ years of proven supervisory skillsAbility to identify and collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute communications strategiesAbility to think strategically and to provide a clear path to achieving resultsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFinancial acumenHigh aptitude for interpreting retail data and applying solutions as problems ariseMotivational and situational leadership and coaching#J-18808-Ljbffr
