Our nonprofit organization seeks a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial operations and ensure long-term financial health and stability. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles and a proven track record of financial leadership.Responsibilities:•Financial Planning and Analysis:•Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.•Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.•Prepare regular financial reports and analyses for the board of directors and senior leadership.•Financial Operations:•Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.•Manage cash flow and ensure timely payment of obligations.•Implement and maintain strong internal controls and compliance procedures.•Fundraising and Donor Relations:•Collaborate with the development team to identify and cultivate potential donors.•Manage donor databases and track contributions.•Prepare donor reports and acknowledgments.•Board and Staff Relations:•Provide financial advice and guidance to the board of directors.•Work closely with program directors and staff to support their financial needs.•Foster strong relationships with external auditors and other financial professionals.Qualifications:•Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.•CPA certification required.•Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in nonprofit financial management is a must.•Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards.•Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.•Experience with nonprofit fundraising.•Knowledge of Grant management and compliance for not-for-profit organizations.•Proficiency in financial software and systems.Location: Monsey, NYSalary: $150K-$250KTo apply or for more information, please email your resume to ...@SwiftStaffingGroup.com with the subject line CFO - Job #2762651.
