Appodeal is hiring a Chief Financial Officer to join our high-caliber Finance Team. The Chief Financial Officer will be a highly detail-oriented, self-starter who thrives within a fast-paced startup environment. This role is an exciting challenge for those who are looking to support a rapidly growing international Ad-Tech company. You will work with and report directly to the CEO. Your main tasks will vary daily, but could include critical projects related to monthly close, audits and supporting our numerous international subsidiaries.Responsibilities:- Provide cost of ownership calculations, ROI calculations, and financing comparisons;- Provide oversight, creative, and strategic planning for both cash flow and debt;- Provide leadership needed to plan and grow profit efficiently, including developing budgets and providing accurate projections in support of business strategy;- Present timely and valid interpretation of operating results;- Work closely with the CEO to develop short and long-term strategy;- Creating budgets for the marketing, sales and product teams;- Manage all tasks with a hands-on mentality;- Support investor and bank requests and reporting as needed;- Assist with preparations for audits, with ongoing audit risk assessment throughout the year.Requirements:- 10+ years in a financial role with at least 5+ years as a finance leader;- Bachelor's degree required (in accounting or a related field preferred);- Experience with international operations and consolidation of subsidiaries;- Experience working in start-up companies;- Strong understanding of GAAP / FASB standards and Revenue Recognition;- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills;- Experience with NetSuite is required;- Advanced MS Office skills;- Demonstrated ability to work independently across multiple projects and systems in a fast-paced team environment with time pressures;- High degree of integrity and confidentiality;- Demonstrates proactive approaches to problem-solving;- Ability to oversee and review corporate accounting functions;- Ability to multitask, detail-oriented, prioritize and be highly organized.Why Appodeal?We have a great product and an amazing, internationally dispersed team.
