We are keen to speak with CFTC Regulatory Reporting Project Manager to join our team. Working for a Hedge Fund based in New York City, on an initial 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of CFTC regulations and extensive experience in regulatory reporting within the hedge fund industry. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with CFTC requirements and enhancing their reporting processes.Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of CFTC Trade reporting strategies.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to CFTC and other regulatory bodies.
- Analyse and interpret CFTC regulations to provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and reporting efficiency.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on reporting obligations.
- Provide training and support to staff on CFTC reporting requirements and best practices.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on compliance status and initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory/Trade reporting within the hedge fund or financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of CFTC regulations, particularly related to derivatives and swaps.
- Deep knowledge of Trade reporting.
- Proven analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to write business requirements, manage data and data controls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
