Volt is immediately hiring a Camber Operator in Visalia, CA As a Camber Operator you will:
- Demonstrates knowledge of production criteria for products that are processed in the area.
- Sets up and operates Chambers, Blankers, Slitters, Inspection machines, Combiners and related equipment used to perform daily job tasks.
- Makes adjustments to speed, tension, timing, temperature and related variables as needed to meet specifications.
- Uses measuring and checking devices.
- Performs routine visual checks on work in process.
- Performs routine maintenance on processing equipment as needed.
- Works with support groups: Supervision, Quality Control, Engineering, Mfg Technicians, Planners and other production support personnel as special problems or requirements develop.
- Must be able to work in a team orientated work environment.
- Assists in the training of new operators, along with cross training other experienced operators on certified equipment.
- Follows safety rules and gives feedback of any safety concerns or violations.
- Maintains a neat and orderly work area including daily 5S tasks.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Shift:2nd shift Mon- Fri 2:30 PM- 10:30 PM The ideal candidate will have:
- Must be able to work in a team orientated work environment.
- Responsible for the set-up and operation of a Chamber.
- Roll to Roll Inspection Machine.
- Combiners, Slitters, Roll to Roll Blankers and all related work.
This is a
Full-Time Contract opportunity. Duration: 12 Months
