We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Wholesale Parts Counterperson. As a vital member of our automotive parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and efficiently handling parts inquiries and sales. Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating positive experiences and relationships.
  • Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information on product availability, pricing, and specifications.
  • Utilize computer systems and software to look up parts and process transactions.
  • Process orders, ensuring accuracy in part numbers and customer details.
  • Proficiency in using parts catalogs and inventory management software..
  • Communicate effectively with other team members and departments.
  • Provide technical support to customers, helping them with product applications and troubleshooting.
  • Keep the parts counter and storage area organized and clean. Share housekeeping responsibilities throughout the dealership when needed.
  • Stay updated on new products, services, and promotions.
  • Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
  • Parts deliveries
  • Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in automotive technology is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an automotive parts environment, preferably in a wholesale setting is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with parts lookup software.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
