JOB TITLE: Channel & Brand Manager - Personal Protection LOCATION: Fort Smith, ARJoin a team at the forefront of personal defense innovation. We are seeking a dedicated Channel & Brand Manager to lead the strategy and growth of our P2P (Prepared 2 Protect) - less than lethal personal defense products. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a dynamic product line with a mission-driven organization focused empowering people with the confidence to protect themselves, their families, and their possessions.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute the product line assortment strategy, including retail and wholesale pricing, product specifications, and SKU rationalization for our less than lethal personal defense products
- Lead personal defense category sales strategy - Domestic and International
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the personal protection market, including trends, competitors, training requirements, and sales channels
- Partner with the sales force to identify and target P2P business opportunities across all channels outside of law enforcement, military, and government
- Collaborate on developing non-traditional retail sales opportunities
- Support the sales team in key account reviews and presentations
- Collaborate with the product development team to create a strategic, profitable, and highly appealing product line assortment
- Work with the Marketing VP to establish marketing strategies for the P2P brand and new product launches
- Serve as the primary technical expert and advocate for less than lethal products in Umarex USA
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all less than lethal personal defense product categories
- Keep certifications current for less lethal product use
- Collaborate with the compliance department to maintain a dynamic summary of relevant national, state, and municipal regulations impacting product sales
- Establish and maintain a training program
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, and product development for retail products
- Preferred experience in personal defense products, with exposure to less lethal personal defense instruction
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated success in driving sales across multiple categories and distribution channels
- Strong ability to create and execute product line sales strategies
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to interface effectively with various departments, including sales, operations, product development, marketing, logistics, and quality
- Willingness to travel, including international travel as needed
